REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTERING DEATH AND ISSUING NOC

  1. Death Certificate (Original + 2 copies)
  2. Death Notification (original + 2 copies)
  3. Passport of the deceased (Original + 2 copies)
  4. A letter from the sponsor/company on letterhead with the seal stating that Mr/ Ms. ………………., who was under their sponsorship expired on ………...due to ………………. His/ Her death may please be registered. His dues and drawn statement are as follows: - (If due & drawn statement cannot be furnished immediately, please state that dues & drawn statement will be sent to the Indian Embassy, in due course)
    Annexure 11 - Company letter format
    Two copies of passport of the person accompanying the dead body to India. The individual (Authorized person) should come in person to the Embassy.
    A letter from the next of kin of the deceased, addressed to the Embassy of India, Abu Dhabi requesting to handover the mortal remains to Mr ……………for facilitating the transportation/ local burial/cremation of the deceased, should be sent to the Embassy by email. If no kith and kin of the deceased are residing in the UAE, permission/no objection letter of the next of kin attested by a Notary should be sent to the Embassy by email.

  5. Confirmation from the Airline for facilitating the repatriating the mortal remains to the concerned airports in India (Cargo confirmation/booking of space).

REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTERING DEATH AND ISSUING NOC

  1. All documents mentioned above, excluding the cargo confirmation.
    Note:

    Death Registration Certificate and NOC issued by the Embassy is mandatory in order to get the Embalming & Sealing Certificate and health Ministry letter from the Department of Health of Abu Dhabi.
